Reporting Enhancements
With the introduction of the eSuite native billing capability for Google, Amazon and iTunes, the need to reconcile with those 3rd party solutions arises. To support this reconciliation, our standard subscription and order reports have been enhanced to include the identifiers for each of the 3 solutions.
The changes have been implemented in new versions of the reports which can both be found in the Data Feeds section in the Reporting & Analytics module documentation:
- Order Report v13
- Subscription Data Feed v10
Custom Offline Payments for Bundle Purchases
Custom offline payments allow users to define specific payment types for payments which are handled outside of eSuite. The concept aims to support reconciliation between eSuite and the offline payment processes. The feature was initially introduced for service-based subscription purchases but is now extended to support bundle subscription purchases.
Subscription-Only Card Updates
Clients using the eSuite Card Updater service can now choose whether to include only cards which are in use against active subscriptions, or to send all cards matching the Card Updater Selection Criteria for update regardless of whether a subscription is present. This feature can be turned on or off via the Settings Page in eSuite HQ.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay has been introduced into eSuite as a new payment method for product and service purchases, and renewal payments. Initially Apple Pay will be available for clients that route transactions through our North American acquirer connections, and in due course this will be expanded further to cover our European acquirers. This release includes the necessary REST API and eSuite functionality, with an associated update (i.e. Apple device detection) within our SDK expected in the upcoming version 5 release.
Documentation for Apple Pay will be made available over the forthcoming weeks as SDK v5 goes live.
