Client-side authentication can be achieved either by submission of a correctly formatted email-address and password, or by reference to a third-party provider (such as a social-networking site).
eSuite users, when performing initial registration, can specify an email-password combination, which subsequently they will use to authenticate with eSuite, in order to perform self-care profile-management activities.
Alternatively, they may elect to register with an existing email-address, already used by them for authentication with a third-party site; such as a social-networking site.
