eSuite v151.0

Key Updates

A substantial release, with a series of major and minor features. Outside of the major piece of development which is Physical Subscriptions (don't let this title fool you, it's much more than physical subscriptions), we have also released a series of system optimization and bug fix tickets to improve the overall client experience.

Physical Subscription Phase 1 Completion with Pre-defined Bundles

eSuite HQ

This release completes the first phase of our Physical Subscriptions solution pending a few minor tweaks. From today you can configure your own pre-defined bundles of physical and/or digital products. These bundles can contain any number of products and can be made available for purchase on a selection of contracts defined by you. The contract defines how often the subscription renews, independently of how often the products are issued. Prices can be defined in multiple currencies and tailored for each contract.

eSuite API

eSuite REST API has been extended to include the endpoints required to configure, maintain and purchase pre-defined bundles. Underpinned by these new and amended endpoints, the eSuite Virtual Terminal has been updated to include a new bundle purchase option where the user can easily select from the available bundles and purchase on the customer’s behalf.

The latest version of the API, V11 will be made available in the forthcoming weeks ETA: Mid February 2019.

Reporting

To support financial reporting of bundle purchases, a new eSuite standard report gives an item level breakdown of each Order showing the independent net and tax amounts for each product purchased, avoiding the need to use blended tax rates in many scenarios.

eSuite SDK

We’ve also made some significant changes to eSuite SDK to support both customer-defined and pre-defined bundles.

The latest version of eSuite SDK will be made available in the forthcoming weeks ETA: Late January 2019.

Getting Started

We appreciate there's a lot of new functionality surrounding this project, and If you’d like to understand more about this capability, speak to your account manager who can arrange a demonstration. Otherwise, over the next few weeks we are going to communicate the key updates and how you can learn about each feature and take advantage in your own instance of eSuite.

Number of tickets deployed: 125

This does not indicate which release the development will be assigned to, more a reflection of reaching 'dev complete', at which stage will require rigorous testing, and regression.
