3D Secure Foundations

SCA requires the need to support 3D Secure version 1 and version 2 through all of our gateway connections within the EEA region. These tickets introduce additional 3DS V1 capabilities within our APIs which previously did not exist within the eSuite platform through our gateways.

Why just 3DS v1? As per our communication in July and latest entry to the '3DS Key Updates' page, the EBA has indicated that 3D Secure version 1, which has been available since 2001, does satisfy the compliance requirement for SCA, albeit not as dynamically or extensively as the version 2 service allows. Based upon this information, as confirmed by major schemes, MPP Global, working closely with it's partners in the payments chain, has broadened the scope for the 3DS development project to cater for both the introduction of the planned 3D Secure version 2 service as well as extending the current version 1 service to comply with with SCA requirements being introduced in September. To meet requirements, as a path of least resistance, we are advising clients to plan for the introduction of 3DS v1.

Over the next few releases, key functionality for both 3DS v1 and v2 will be deployed, along with a series of integration documents and guidance.

Physical Subscription Importers

To enable new clients to migrate their existing customers onto the new Physical Subscriptions solution, new and extended Importers have been created. These importers will be capable of populating subscriptions with multiple items associated, along with any associated history.

Additionally, eSuite needs to provide support for existing MPP Global clients who wish to migrate from the service-based subscription model to the Physical Subscriptions solution.
