Entitlement & Fulfillment Management
The eSuite concepts of entitlement and fulfillment manage access to digital content and drive the distribution of physical goods respectively. Fulfillment and entitlements are generated by the issue calendar engine based on the issue calendar configured for each product purchased.
Entitlements
Entitlements are the key to access digital content for a customer. The entitlements associated with a product are defined in the issue calendar of that product. When a bundle is purchased and at time of renewal, entitlements are generated in line with the issue calendar by the issue calendar engine. Entitlements are visible in eSuite HQ against the customer's account:

For more on entitlements, view the Intelligence and Decisioning section of the eSuite module documentation.
Fulfillments
The purpose of a fulfilment is to drive the distribution of a physical product. Its attributes include the details of the product and the delivery address to which the product should be sent. Fulfilments are created by the issue calendar engine. At time of order or renewal, a fulfilment is created for each physical delivery required to fulfil the purchase made by the customer. A single fulfilment may have many products (items) associated with it.
Fulfilments have a status which is used to identify where a distribution partner needs to be informed. A lead time, configured against the product, is used to determine a supplier notification date which triggers eSuite to inform the distribution partner about the product.
Fulfilments are visible against the associated order in eSuite HQ, showing the associated dates, products and delivery address:
Users can edit the delivery address, the delivery date (when the customer can expect to receive the product), the supplier notification date (when eSuite will instruct the distribution partner to deliver) and the status.
Issue Calendar Engine
This component is responsible for the generation of entitlements and fulfilments in line with the issue schedule of products which have been purchased. Entitlements and fulfilments are created at the point of purchase and renewal and then can be updated and in some cases deleted during the life of a subscription period. Scenarios impacting entitlements and fulfilments include:
- Hard cancel
- Subscription holidays
- Change in delivery address
- Updates to the delivery calendar
eSuite Fulfilment Extract
Via the Reporting module, eSuite offers a feed of Fulfilment data which can inform distribution partners about the products which need to be delivered to customers.
The data feed aims to be a generic output which can be converted into the format required by each distribution partner, without the need for development from MPP Global. The data includes line item level details of the fulfilments associated with each subscription's current period. For example, if a monthly bundle subscription with physical products is purchased on January 15th, and the extract is run on January 20th, all fulfilments related to the period January 15th through to February 14th will be included. This approach supports guaranteeing the inclusion of all potentially relevant fulfilments.
When a subscription is cancelled, it is included in the report for up to 7 days to allow the cancellation to be recognised. Changes to addresses, including those made using the eSuite delivery calendar features, are reflected in the data.
The eSuite Fulfilment Extract can be found in eSuiteHQ via the Reports tab, in the Data Feeds category.
