eSuite v137.0
GDPR - Email Verification
In anticipation for GDPR, a customer verification Email can now be triggered by a eSuite HQ user to that customer form their Customer Record. This will aid you in confirming the consent of a customer that their PII data is legitimately held by yourselves.
This is a configurable function and you will need to raise a ticket with Customer Support on whether you want this to be enabled. Please also provide the account verification end-point you want the customer to be sent to in order to verify their account or whether you wish to use the standard MPP Global account verification screen.
Parent Child Behaviour
The Parent/Child behaviour has been extended to allow users of eSuite HQ to see more information when they have a Parent/Child client setup. The aim is to remove the dead-ends that users of eSuite HQ were having when going through the flow of accessing information regarding consumers and their purchases.
All Parent clients will have visibility of information at the Child level, but no editing rights. Parent clients will have the option, via the Settings section, to allow Child clients the ability to see account information, giving an improved user journey when searching for a Consumer and checking subscriptions, services, entitlements etc. Again, Child clients will have no editing rights at the Parent level. If a Parent wishes for the Child to have no access, this can be configured in the Settings section.
eSuite API v10
A new major version of the eSuite API is available as part of this release. There are a number of new features which you can take advantage of by using this version of the API. The change log and key features for the new API version can be found here in Support Centre.
Shipping and Invoice Address for Subscriptions
Functionality has now been introduced to allow customers to specify the address that they would like their subscription to be shipped and/or invoiced to. These addresses are independent of each other and are taken from the address book that is configured for the customers account. At any point in time, a customer is able to change either of these addresses without affecting any other subscriptions they may already have configured.
Cancellation Date
When a subscription is now cancelled, either hard or soft, a log of the date is recorded. Logging of this date allows you to better understand when your customers cancel their subscriptions and see if there any patterns which could be addressed to prevent churn. This data is returned on both the API and also as part of the latest version of the eSuite Subscription Data Feed.
Gifting Information on Process Update Handler
Two additional attributes have been added to a new version of the standard eSuite Process Update Handler callout. These attributes are giftVoucher and giftEmail. These values will be populated only when a gift purchase has taken place. The primary driver for this information is to allow you to bring the details into an external system for future reconciliation.
